About Me

Tom  Lum Forest

Hi - thank you for being here. I'm happy to meet you! I'm an MIT grad with a science degree in management. I'm a software engineer who lives rurally three miles up a gravel road at 1,300'. I graduated from Hillsboro High School when it was the only high school in town, and have deep family and personal connections to Oregon going back to 1880. I'm also a wilderness hike leader, a singer/guitarist, and have been on the Banks School District Budget Committee since 2012. I'm here to listen to you and collaborate to get where we want to go from where we are, to do the most good for the most people.

Undoing Fed tax cuts for the rich

Let’s completely disconnect Oregon’s tax code from the federal code and selectively reconnect.
